Farmers' Markets New Zealand Inc. will be holding their inaugural conference
June 16,17,18 in Hawke's Bay. Cofunded
by NZTE the conference will cover
aspects of market management, business building for vendors, local food
systems, regional cuisine, food safety and nutrition.
The conference will take place at the Havelock North community centre and will
also include visits to farms and the Hawke's Bay Farmers' Market on Sunday
morning. A full program and further details will be available early April. The
conference is open to all interested parties as well as members of FMNZ Inc.
